Trent's Birthday

Mitch as the enforcer. - "Hasta la vista, baby!"

Once again Mike talked me into letting Trent have a "friend party" for his birthday. Apparently, Mike feels it helps with self esteem (Maybe he also has some unresolved issues from childhood - who knows?). So, of course I opted for the party away from home and free of clean up. We went to "Jump on It." We missed the Gibson Doxey family party by a few days. However, Mike can't jump yet because of his hernia surgery. So, he took some pics for us.

Mike and Trent created this fabulous pirate cake. I did nothing to help (but clean up, of course). It was a hit with the friends.

Chillin' with his pals
This wore the boys out and I'm sure they slept well that nightLife is good!

I'm worse at blogging than scrapbooking

Stay tuned, but don't hold your breath ... I should have pictures of Trent's bday soon.

Well Halloween was over a month ago, but here are a few pictures just a little late. As you can see, Aubs was Minnie, Trent was Jack Sparrow, and Mitch was a Cowboy. Yes, we are Disney's target market and we have been sucked into it all.

OK so I am finally going to post something to this blog. I figure it would be good to start with some pictures from our most recent vacation. We went to Yellowstone this past weekend (9/28/07). Although it was pretty cold, we still had a great time. We also toured around Grand Teton Park and stayed in Colter Bay. The fall colors were awesome so it made for great pictures. The only catch is that our kids, despite being adorable in person, are not the least bit photogenic. But, they had a great time camping and playing with their cousins.

It was pretty cold at Yellowstone, but of course we had to see Old Faithful

You have to get at least one picture of one of these when in Yellowstone.

Our little cabin in Colter Bay. It was the last weekend of the season.

The Teton Valley was beautiful.

Trenton enjoyed checking out the scenery with his new binocs. This after we convinced him that binoculars were cooler than a real bow & arrow (I don't think he is totally convinced on this issue).

Good Times.

So there it is - Our first posting. Hopefully it won't be the last.
